Fiona Shand is a Senior Research Fellow at the Black Dog Institute and is part of the NHMRC Centre for Research Excellence in Suicide Prevention. Dr Shand’s program of research covers treatments for people at risk of suicide, the use of technology for suicide prevention, intervention following a suicide attempt in order to prevent further attempts, suicide prevention amongst Australia's First Nations People, the health service experience of people after a suicide attempt, and multi-level, community wide models of suicide prevention.
