Peer Connection and Industry Ownership

New Australian research published in the American Journal of Industrial Medicine has confirmed the MATES in Construction model as a world leader in workplace suicide prevention. The study, led by MATES Australia CEO Jørgen Gullestrup and researchers from Deakin University, found that trust, relatability, and industry ownership are key to engaging workers in mental health programs.

Built by the industry, for the industry, MATES creates authentic peer connections that break down stigma, encourage open conversations, and save lives.
